Colorado Remote Notary

Remote notary restrictions lifted

The in person appearance requirements for Colorado notarizations has been waived for the COVID-19 outbreak.

We look forward to performing your notary services with the new exceptions to the previous rules, and look forward to advancing business and the economy during these trying times.

A couple points to note for remote notarizations:

  • Video calls will be recorded and saved for 10 years

  • Electoral documents are excluded

  • Identities will be verified through a state or government ID (I request an electronic copy in additon to viewing it on the video call)

  • Wills have some stipulations see the full details in the link below

  • Remote notarizations are done through the live notary platform. Send us your documents and we will send you an invite to the platform. They verify you ID through the platform. Once you are verified then we get connected, notarize the document and complete the session. After that you will be prompted for payment

Full details provide by the state of Colorado regarding the requirements for remote notarizations can be found here.
